We have wonderful choreographer and instructor Gary O'Reilly from Ireland join as our guest instructor, along with fabulous local instructors Mary Rochfort, Wendy Johansson, Helen McIntyre, Marie McLeod, and Sean Buckley. We also have Carolyn Jurek (formerly from Calgary, now living in Toronto), with Bjorn J. as DJ in the main hall.
A reminder that Footloose will focus on Beginner and Intermediate levels, with classes in both levels running at the same time all weekend. Classes run Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday, with social dancing on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The weekend pass includes morning coffee and muffins to get your day started on Saturday and Sunday, lunches to keep you going on Saturday and Sunday, all the dance workshops, both Friday and Saturday evening social dances, and step sheet descriptions for the dances taught, available online on this website for download.
There's something for everyone at this all line dance weekend. Come prepared to have a great time! All activities take place at the Highwood Centre, a beautiful facility just outside of Calgary in High River. We encourage you to stay overnight at the Super 8, Ramada, or Heritage Inn in High River.
